Have been meaning to make Mayonnaise for a while, but always found the reason not to. Today didn’t have an excuse.

Used Yotam Ottolenghi recipe…  next time will have to do half size. As I’m the only one eating  it, by mistake added another egg. It’s delicious. Hard to stop eating it. Better not check my cholesterol for a while…

PS. Since I made mustard yesterday, I used it.

The Cost:

2 Eggs – $2 (eggs are organic 700)
mustard / salt / sugar / – cost negligiable
Garlic approx $ 1
Lemon Juice $0.30
Oil $2.50

Total Cost $5.80

Not bad for 500mls of Organic Mayo.
