Slow Cooking

The recipe was suppose to be beef cheeks, but they are expensive, so I purchased T bone Steak $14.50kg, I bought 2 kg

Cooked the recipe by memory… the wine was suppose to cost $5, but since I entered a competition and didn’t win, I still had $15 wine. The $5 clean skin received fantastic reviews, that’s why I use it, otherwise I stay clear away from cheap wine, as it ruins the dish.

Carrots don’t look the best, as I purchased them 3 weeks ago and finally gotten around to using them. They were still crisp, just not as they were the day that I bought them.

Cooked the meat for 3.5 hours.. should have used beer as it tenderizes the meat more, next time.

Only used Salt, Black Peppercorns and Bay Leaf to season…

Took it off the hot plate at 8.30pm, will take hours to cool down…
